We have a big global problem in the world - it keeps getting warmer and warmer, because of the increasing amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. Especially the cars are emitting too much CO2. Worldwide, automobiles emit more than 1 ½ billion tons of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere each year. We have to take care of our world - and one of the solutions is already driving on the routes: Hydrogen Cars. There are already many sorts of leak free cars around the world, especially in California and Japan, though it’s a relatively new project. In 2005 Honda made the first hydrogen car, but scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), had been researching more than 28 years in the fuel cells, to get to a usable solution. The problem is the pollution of the high-efficiency cars, but the hydrogen cars do neither emit CO2 nor any other greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere. The increasing prices for fuel are a problem as well. People all over the world are under the influence of the fuel prices, but if we invest in the Hydrogen Car, the prices would be much lower for this kind of fuel. The hydrogen cars utilize the fuel much better than cars with the internal combustion engine, which has an effect at 22-23%. It means that only 22-23% of the fuel is used to make the car accelerate. Hydrogen cars have a much better effect - up to 40 %, and in the near future the experts expect an effect at 50 %. The hydrogen cars use hydrogen instead of petrol or diesel. The hydrogen converts into current in a fuel–cell, and at the wheel there is a motor, which will make the car accelerate.
